Family Support Services offers SIB Session, a program for siblings from ages 5 up to their 16th birthday who have a brother or sister with autism or an intellectual disability. Sessions are offered free of charge and take place at the Barber National Institute on the third Saturday of each month, from September 2018 through May 2019. Each SIB Session follows a three-hour format, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Activities include swimming in the Barber National Institute Pool (please bring bathing suit and towel) and also sharing a light lunch. SIBS will also have time to enjoy a craft and a variety of other activities. Most importantly, SIB Sessions will provide a comfortable setting for sharing and learning about the ups and downs of being a brother or sister to a sibling with challenges.

Upcoming Event Information:

SibSessions will resume after summer break in September.
