ESO Camp will be held: June 24 through August 2, 2019

Expanding Social Opportunities (ESO) at the Barber National Institute offers an innovative summer recreation day camp designed for individuals ages 18 and older with autism or intellectual disabilities.

ESO summer Camp offers social opportunities through various skill building activities, adaptive sports, creative arts, and recreation. Staff provide activities such as arts and crafts, field trips in the community, swimming, games, talent show and much more! ESO Summer Camp is staffed with a team that consists of a site supervisor, recreation leader, recreation aides, and certified pool instructors.

ESO Summer Camp is held at the Barber National Institute Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This is a recreational summer camp. If assistance is needed to support physical, medical, and/or behavioral needs, an aid, TSS, or nurse must be present at all times with your camper. Our main priority is the safety of the campers.

Campers can attend the program for any part of the session, but must attend at least one full week. Applications will be accepted based on whether the camp is an appropriate match for the camper. There are limited spaces available. Families will be notified of their acceptance.
