Adult Day Services for Adults with Disabilities

Adult Day Services at Barber National Institute provide a variety of programs and flexibility so that we can best meet the needs of individuals with developmental challenges and maximize individual strengths. We provide day services that will foster greater independence, increase community involvement and improve social interaction.

Adult Day Services for Adults with Disabilities - Club Erie

Adult Day Services include:

  • Club Erie - a community-based service to help adults with intellectual disabilities acquire, maintain, and improve skills while accessing their community, building friendships and having fun.
  • Community Participation Support - a program that enables adults with intellectual disabilities to become more involved in their community through activities that interest them.
  • Home & Community Habilitation - an alternative to traditional facility-based programs and adult training facilities, this adult day program is based out of the individual’s home and allows for greater flexibility in exploring their community and reaching their personal goals.
  • Creative Connectionsan artist-in-residence initiative designed to bring professional artists into our adult day programs and community spaces throughout Pennsylvania. Each residency offers children and adults of all abilities the opportunity to explore, create, and share art.
