Barber National Institute’s northwest Pennsylvania locations serve children, adults with intellectual disabilities, autism and behavioral health challenges, and their families, through person-centered programs, services and community outreach initiatives. Barber National Institute encourages every individual with disabilities to be actively involved in developing his or her plan for services while receiving the guidance and support of our qualified caregivers. Barber National Institute employs more than 2,700 dedicated staff who help to carry out our mission of providing hope and opportunity to individuals. Its nationally recognized Elizabeth Lee Black School provides educational programs to children from schools across northwest Pennsylvania.

Bollinger Campus of the Barber National Institute provides community-based day programs and supported employment for adults with disabilities in Warren and Forest Counties. Founded in 1978 by Warren residents Annabel and Clifford Bollinger,
