Fitness & Performance Center Renovation Project

Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House Charities in Erie has pledged $50,000 to help fund renovations to a Fitness and Performance Center on the main campus of the Barber National Institute.  This facility, constructed as a gymnasium in 1975, is used throughout the year for many events for students, adults, and families.  In addition to gym classes and adaptive bike sessions held every week, the facility is also used for visiting dance and music performances, student holiday plays, and performances with the Erie Playhouse Youth Theater, school events, youth and adult dances, etc.

Renovations will include new lighting, a sound system, screens to project computer presentations, a movable stage, and seating.

Donors are invited to make a gift to help fund this project that will be enjoyed by our individuals, families, and staff for years to come.
