April marks Autism Awareness Month, and the Barber National Institute, children and families kicked it off early with a special Autism Awareness Day at the Millcreek Mall Saturday, March 23. A call to always strive for the best was one of the messages brought by Fred Lokuta, deputy secretary of the Office of Developmental Programs, in his first visit to the Barber National Institute on Friday.
