The Pennsylvania Dept. of Public Welfare has formally approved Connections Camp for summer 2013 for children and young adolescents diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, Pervasive Development Disorder or High-Functioning Autism. In anticipation of Autism Month in April, the Barber National Institute will host Autism Awareness Day on Saturday, March 23, from 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Millcreek Mall. Volunteers are needed to tutor adults in the Adult Basic Education/Adult Literacy program at the Barber National Institute. Santa and Mrs. Claus made an early stop at the Barber Institute Tuesday, Dec. 18 to surprise students with presents selected especially for them.Connections Camp Set for Summer 2013
