The Barber National Institute will welcome the PA Family Network for a free workshop for families on Thursday, July 27 in the in the north complex forum. “An Everyday Life for All: An Overview of the LifeCourse Framework” will be offered from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

The presentation will focus on the LifeCourse framework and tools that were created by families to help individuals of all ages and abilities and their families enrich their lives. Topics include developing a vision for a “Good Life;” identifying how to find or develop supports; discovering how to have an “Everyday Life” in their communities; and learning how to use the LifeCourse tools through life’s transitions.

The PA Family Network is part of Vision for Equality, a program founded in 1996 to improve understanding about and support for people with disabilities and their families in the community.
