Excitement for Transitional Work Services Award Recipients

The reactions varied, but all were positive. Some had a slight, yet noticeably shy smile. Others clapped their hands and raised their arms. The most excited of them yelled “Oh, wow!” and gave high-fives and hugs all around.

It was the latest month of celebration for Transitional Work Services (TWS) at their monthly award ceremony. There, individuals in the program are recognized for their hard work, good deeds and improved skills. They learn the skills needed to translate into a job outside of the Barber National Institute, and many TWS members have been transitioned into jobs. Two formers TWS members just recently found jobs, as Jessica Grizanti started working at Med Max on November 11 and Charles Blossey started at Peterson's on November 13.

Congratulations to all for their hard work and wonderful rewards!
