The purposes of early childhood programs are to prepare young children for elementary school, assist with the transition to Kindergarten and to ultimately help the child achieve continuing academic success.
Early childhood programs vary in cost based on the type of program. Happy Hearts Inclusive Preschool and child care program costs $34 a day. Families may apply for scholarships that are available.
The Specialized Early Intervention Preschool and PreK Counts are provided free of charge for qualifying students/families.
Children that qualify for childhood programs are aged 3-5 years and are typically developing, deaf, hard-of-hearing or children requiring a more structural classroom with a higher ratio of teachers to students.
