Donations from three Erie organizations helped fund new equipment to be used in Production Services at the Barber National Institute.

A Musical Petting Zoo with the Erie Chamber Orchestra was so successful when it was held last May that the organization has now planned monthly sessions with our students and faculty. An award for Service to the Community was presented to the Barber National Institute during the second annual Commitment To Erie Awards at the Ambassador Hotel on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The Norbert H. Hardner Foundation recently donated $15,000 to the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation for technology advances at the Elizabeth Lee Black School (ELBS).
