As Americans marked Giving Tuesday on Nov. 29, students and adults at the Barber National Institute were “giving back.” Awards were presented at the annual PAR Conference in October to recognize the achievements of those who have enhanced community inclusion and the quality of life for persons with disabilities. Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper presented a resolution commemorating October as Disability Employment Awareness Month in Erie County.
