Erie, PA (November 8, 2024) - Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources (PAR) 2024 “We Are Worth It” Self-Advocacy Employee of the Year award is given to Jerome Owens, an adult in our Philadelphia Supported Employment program. Erie, PA (Oct. 30, 2024) - Barber National Institute Forensic Outpatient Therapist Catherine (Caity) Bilanich was invited to create an original artwork for public exhibition at the Erie Art Museum. Erie, PA (Oct. 25, 2024) - Students from Barber National Institute’s Elizabeth Lee Black School gathered in song to thank Pennsylvania Senator Dan Laughlin who was instrumental in securing an additional $750,000 in funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for Barber National Institute’s Elizabeth Lee Black School as part of the 2024-2025 Pennsylvania state budget.
