Somerset Employee of the Month August

Jennifer is a full-time Community Supports Professional and is also the job coach for Somerset Supported Employment Services (SES).  Jennifer finds time for job coaching, job development, and finds great ideas for group activities and community outings.  She enjoys taking adults on a wide variety of community outings such as formal classes to help with reading and math.  Jennifer’s relationship with individuals continues to be very upbeat and relatable.   The Program Specialists can rely on her for accurate assessments and information regarding the individuals in our day program.  

Due to Jennifer’s dedication to our SES program, she assisted one of our adults in finding a job in the community in April.  Today, this adult excels at his new position at a local manufacturing company in Somerset.  She continues to find new ways to help adults in job development and find the right job that they are interested in.   Jennifer comes up with new ideas to make the adult's time at the day program more enjoyable and fulfilling such as “ice cream float day” and continues to give them a happy and safe environment; not only for the adults she serves, but their families as well.  She has a strong willingness to help everyone in the program and is a great problem solver.
