Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential - Part Time

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential you will be making a direct impact on the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From meal preparation to trips in the park, DSPs provide support every step of the way in residential group homes located in Erie.

In a team environment, you will work as caregivers with one goal in mind: making sure our adults lead active and independent lives. It’s more than a career; it’s a fulfilling way of life.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential responsibilities include helping with daily living skills, assisting with personal care, transporting to day programs, completing household chores and promoting independence.

We are committed to providing a safe environment throughout the hiring process, orientation, and at the worksite. Covid training, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting, and ample PPE as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • One year of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
