Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Make a difference as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist providing services to elementary through high school students. The position is located at the Barber Behavioral Health Outpatient satellite sites in the General McLane District schools. This is a full-time school year opportunity with additional part-time hours available in the summer.
Responsibilities of Licensed Mental Health Therapist:
• Provide research and evidence-based therapy to children who have a mental health diagnosis;
• Design, develop, write and implement formalized treatment plans for individuals in treatment;
• Conduct collaborative documentation;
• Collaborate with treatment team including school personnel, psychiatry, nursing, and other systems;
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with all BNI programs and personnel;
• Attend weekly supervision meetings
• Conduct ADOS Testing.
Qualifications for Licensed Mental Health Therapist:
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, counseling or related field.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred.
• Knowledge of evidenced-based clinical therapy models in the treatment of mental illness
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements.
