Erie, PA (Sept. 7, 2025) – Barber National Institute celebrates the nationally recognized Direct Support Professionals Week, September 7 -13. Direct Support Professionals – or DSPs – are caregivers specifically trained to care for individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. At Barber National Institute, a nonprofit organization, more than 950 DSPs provide excellent care for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Pennsylvania.

Erie, PA (August 21, 2025) - Barber National Institute will host a walk-in interview event at its Erie and Philadelphia campuses on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and at its Pittsburgh campus on Tuesday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Visitors can chat with hiring managers, explore a myriad of opportunities for degreed and non-degreed positions, and quickly complete the application and interview process.
