Medical Transport Driver

Job Description

The Medical Transport Driver is responsible for safely transferring patients to their respective destinations while informing receiving parties of arrival, and transferring all patient records and belongings to the receiving destination.

The candidate will professionally manage incoming customer requests via phone and email for ground medical transportation to ensure all requests are scheduled, assigned, and recorded according to company procedures and policies.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide transportation with agency vehicle and remain with clients until appointment concludes
  • Assist with personal hygiene of individuals as required
  • Complete all accountability forms
  • Assist with processing medication orders and reviewing physician order forms
  • Assist office manager with scheduling, answering phones and mail distribution
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Medical Office experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
