IT Hardware Technician I

Job Duties

Install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality for the Barber National Institute – a Human Service organization providing services to adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining and configuring computer hardware devices and peripherals, ensuring the security of networks and systems, providing guidance to users regarding operations and equipment, network administration and troubleshooting user support issues.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems
  • Great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
