Job Description

Find a rewarding career inspiring children with developmental disabilities in our exciting Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) program.

As a Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS), provide one-on-one intervention to children with autism or other social-emotional-behavioral disorders. Part time, flexible, day, afternoon, and evening hours available based on the needs of the child.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the child in the home, school and/or community setting.
  • Implement the child's treatment plan and provide skill transfer to all caregivers.
  • Work with the family in conjunction with other members of the treatment team.
  • Work closely with the supervising BSC to provide input on response to treatment and progress.
  • Collect and record data related to all areas determined in the treatment plan.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence in working with children and their families.
  • Submit accurate clinical documention within specified time frames.

Qualifications – Must meet one of the following:

  • BA in Human Services
  • BA in any field + 1 year paid experience with children/adolescents
  • Associate's Degree or 60 college credits + 3 years paid experience with children/adolescents or 1 year as a Therapeutic Support Staff
  • RN + 1 year paid experience with children/adolescents
  • LPN + 3 years paid experience with children/adolescents

Qualifications – Must meet all of the following:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
