Job Description

IDS Program Specialist - Day Services

Help make a person's dreams come true

This an exciting position (non-exempt) that coordinates day services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, including leading the development of the ISP, ensuring that supports are provided as per the ISP, and completing required documentation.

As a Program Specialist you will work with staff to develop and implement activities that support the individual in achieving their desired outcomes. The position requires creativity, self-initiation, record management proficiency, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well with all members of the Plan Team.

Qualifications include one of the following:
• Master's degree and 1 year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
• Bachelor's and 2 years experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
• Associate's degree and 4 years experience working with adults with developmental disabilities

Qualifications – Must meet all of the following:
• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
