Job Description

Do you want to share your knowledge and help others achieve goals?

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will be helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities foster independence. You will be there every step of the way in Somerset day programs as our individuals gain valuable new skills.

Work with a team of creative and reliable professionals to help our adults grow, learn and connect with others in their community. It’s more than a career; it’s a fulfilling way of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing daily and weekly activity schedules
  • Preparing the work area for vocational operations
  • Retrieving, stocking and tabulating daily work
  • Developing and implementing goals for program participants
  • Completing monthly progress notes
  • Completing assessments and assisting with personal care needs

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
