Founded by Dr. Gertrude A. Barber in 1952, Barber National Institute is recognized worldwide as an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential - you will be making a direct impact on the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From meal preparation to trips in the park, DSPs provide support every step of the way in residential group homes located in Erie, Fairview and Girard, PA.
Help students achieve goals in a supportive learning environment at the Elizabeth Lee Black School, a Nationally designated “School of Excellence” for 14 years and approved private school, that offers a range of educational program choices designed to help all children achieve their potential. This Special Education Teacher will be enthusiastic, innovative and committed to meeting the needs of the students and their families.
