Coming in September!

THE 21+ CLUB!

THE 21+ CLUB will begin the 2008-2009 Season with a very special presentation on September 3rd at the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber National Institute in the Forum from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

The presentation will focus on Oral Health Care for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Presenters will be David E. Shapter, DDS and Ms. Mary Hartley from ACHIEVA, provider of services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Dr. Shapter and dental staff will discuss practical ways to provide the best home and professional dental care for our family members with developmental disabilities. Ms Hartley will report on the Oral Health Care Project, an examination of the oral health care system in Pennsylvania and its impact on individuals with developmental disabilities.
