  • Adult Basic Education Graphic Adult Basic Education
    Enhance reading, writing, math, money, and time-telling skills
  • Out to Lunch Graphic Out to Lunch
    Learn about and experience various restaurants in community for a meal; learn skills needed to decide location, purchase, and complete meal independently; learn table manners and appropriate procedures (tipping, etc.)

  • Basketball Graphic Basketball
    Learn skills and rules of the game; learn how to find local game schedules, game locations, and how to access games as a spectator
  • Professionalism Graphic Professionalism
    Through group interaction and role-playing gain an understanding of appropriate behavior on the job; discuss prior work experience and visit local businesses in the community to learn about various work opportunities and positions for future vocational goals; gain necessary job search skills

  • Bowling Graphic Bowling
    Develop skill and learn procedure of bowling at bowling lanes; learn about bowling leagues (location, scheduled league nights, procedure to join a league, etc.)
  • Shopping Graphic Shopping
    Learn about and experience various stores in the community and items that can be purchased at these locations; manage a budget when shopping with a set amount of money

    Gain independence in taking the public bus to desired destinations

    Discussions regarding appropriate behavior, conversation, and interactive skills.

    Become familiar with operating a computer, and accessing information available on the computer; learn locations of computers for public use

    Experience and learn to access various establishments in the community for leisure activities as well as for increased knowledge of community

    Develop cooking skills by learning to read recipes, recognize measuring utensils, obtain ingredients needed, and prepare food items; learn of and access various instructional cooking classes in the community
  • Swimming Graphic Swimming
    Develop various swimming skills and techniques; gain knowledge of how to access local sites available for swimming

    Learn how to make various arts and crafts, as well as where to obtain needed materials; also learn of various craft class locations in community
