Christmas Ball Plans Officially Underway:
Guests Invited to make "Christmas Memories"
The chair couple for the 2010 Christmas Ball, Lynne and Rob Doyle, was officially introduced to committee members at a kick-off meeting held Sept. 23 at the Barber National Institute. The theme for this year’s event, “Christmas Memories,” was also announced with a sneak peak at the invitations featuring Natalae Conklin and Landon Smith, students in the Elizabeth Lee Black School. The Ball will be held Saturday, Dec. 11 from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. at the Bayfront Convention Center. Guests are invited to dance to the music of Tennessee Back porch while enjoying the splendor of the bayfront setting and elaborate decorations. Tickets include hors d’oeuvres and desserts, soft drinks and water and three cocktails (cash bar also available). Complimentary valet parking provided.
