The Barber National Institute began providing BHRS to
Forest-Warren Counties in 2003, and the Autism
Early Identification Diagnostic Treatment
Center program continues to provide autism diagnosis
and treatment in conjunction with BHRS. Connections
Camp will be offered in 2007 for the first time in
Warren.
This program incorporates many evidence-based approaches for children with autism, and is guided by a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis.
The Autism Early Identification Diagnostic Treatment Center is coordinated by the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber National Institute and funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. We provide families and professionals with expertise and services to assist children with autism.
